The continuity equation solver program requires the selection of the units which is to be chosen for the calculation.   The two types of Units are available in the program the SI unit or System International Unit (m,kg,sec) system and the English Engineering System.   After the selection of the units the continuity equation can be solved for Areas A1 or A2 in m^2 or can be solved for the velocities V1 and V2 in m/sec or the densities row1 or row2 value in kg/m^3 by inputting the appropriate parameters. These parameters are calculated assuming compressible flow.   Note that in the compressible flow the density doesn't remain constant as it is in incompressible flow so the continuity equation takes into account the variable density when we solve problems relating to compressible flow.
