How to Calculate the Equivalent Airspeed of an Airplane In order to calculate the True Airspeed of the Airplane we require the altitude at which the airplane is flying... 

Furthermore, we require the pressure measured by the Pitot Tube in N/m^2.
And the Outside air temperature in Kelvin (K).
Performing the calculation, gives us, the Equivalent Airspeed Ve of the Airplane in m/s.
The formula for the True Velocity of the Airplane is, Equivalent Airspeed = Ve = square root (2*(p0p)/(row)s)
The density is computed from the equation of state using the equation, density (row)s = p0/RT0.
