The Value of the Oswald Efficiency Factor, e. The Value of the Propeller Efficiency And the Assumed Velocity in feet /sec. Performing the calculation, The Rate of Climb R/C of Jet Powered Aircraft is computed in ft/min by using the formula, Rate of Climb for Single Engine Propeller Airplane  R/C = Pa-Pr/W Furthermore, the Rate of Climb at given velocity is also computed.
