Static Thrust of a Turbojet Engine

In order to calculate the Static Thrust of a Turbojet Engine we have assumed that the Turbojet Engine is mounted on a stationary test stand at sea-level.

 

 

For the calculation of static thrust we require,

 

The inlet area and exit area of turbojet engine in m^2.

The velocity at exit of Turbojet engine in m/s

The pressure at exit of Turbojet engine Pe in N/m^2.

The temperature at exit of the turbojet engine in K.

 

Using the Thrust equation and the equation of continuity with the assumption that V(infinity) = 0, the Static Thrust of the turbojet engine is computed.
